Instructions
- Sign into your Padlet account, create an account, or post anonymously if you cannot create an account (please be sure to include your name if you post anonymously)
- Press the plus icon in the lower right corner to create a post
- Click the first icon on the left to upload your photo
- In the space that says “write something beautiful” provide:
- Department
- Description of connecting activities your department participated in
- Optional: Key Takeaways from your activities
Connecting UConn Activities
- 3 things in 3 minutes: Participants partner up (preferably with someone they don’t know well) They have 3 minutes to find 3 things in common, things that go beyond physical/surface level knowledge
- UConn Trivia/Jeopardy
- Rose, Bud, Thorn: People take turns sharing:
- Rose: something positive that happened recently
- Thorn: a challenge they’re facing
- Bud: something they’re looking forward to
- Find Someone Who: Bingo
- Winds a Blowin’: Participants stand in a circle with one person in a middle they say something about themselves (i.e I have a cat, I’ve been at UConn for more than 5 years, I like hiking) if what they say applies to you, you move to find a new place in the circle. The last person to move places stands in the middle and says something that applies to them.
- Print a map on a cork board and have employees place a pin to mark where they were born/grew up or a country that they identify with
