The Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills (CCRLS) is offering a special benefit during Employee Appreciation Week. From Monday, September 9th to Friday, September 13th, you can enjoy complimentary access to CCRLS’ professional photo booth to update your headshot for LinkedIn or other personal use.
Please note that headshots taken in the CCRLS photo booth are not to be used on university websites.

Sundae Name: Husky Harmony Heath Bar
Ingredients: Toasted Almond Amaretto with Caramel sauce and Heath Bar
Explanation of Name: The following Oxford English Dictionary definitions of Harmony, to me, perfectly describe the qualities of both a Husky who has achieved an ideal sense of well-being, and the greater interconnectedness of Huskies here at UConn:
- Combination or adaptation of parts, elements, or related things, so as to form a consistent and orderly whole; agreement, accord, congruity. i.e. the connectedness of UConn’s campuses to create one united UConn.
- in harmony: in agreement or accordance, consistent, congruous. i.e. all parts of the whole moving in tandem towards progress
- Agreement of feeling or sentiment; peaceableness, concord. i.e. internal and external tranquility
- Combination of parts or details in accord with each other, so as to produce an aesthetically pleasing effect; agreeable aspect arising from apt arrangement of parts. i.e. thoughtfully combining complementary components of something, such as in the Circle of Care, which amplify each other to achieve agreeable outcomes
